somebody postet this as comment on fb so nice I genuinely love talking to people who have schizophrenia. They're some of the most brilliant and genuinely interesting people to listen to; I had a close friend in high school who was schizophrenic and I'd hang out and just listen to him talk for hour s sometimes, because he had all of these really important things he felt compelled to tell the world (just from the sense of urgency in his voice) and it was kind of sad at the same time, because it seemed like he was trying to get across things that were way to complex for everyone else to understand, which was incredibly frustrating to him and made him really sad that he couldn't help everyone by showing them what he knew or thought, kind of. I'm not sure how to describe it. I mean it's categorized as a "mental illness" but whose to say that what he wasn't trying to convey was a kind of ultimate truth, that we just can't grasp because of the magnitud
